College Football Week 11 Picks
Column Record: 28-22-3 (3-2 last week)
Total Record: 33-26-3
I’m going to post 2 records each week. One that tracks the official column picks and one that tracks my overall record since I’ll add plays throughout the weekend (some sober others not so much). If I add plays I will tweet them out as I place them. This way it gives you an accurate and transparent look at how the picks are faring.
Week 10 Recap:

Bowling Green v Akron Under 50: Win

Week 11 Picks:
Baylor -2.5 at TCU: The latest reports have TCU QB Max Duggan playing on Saturday vs Baylor after injuring his middle finger on his throwing hand against Oklahoma State last week. If he’s ineffective, TCU will be forced to turn to walk-on Matthew Downing. This is a massive spot for Baylor as they look to keep their undefeated season going. TCU’s defense has been burned by big plays this season and I think Charlie Brewer has the weapons to hit a few big plays and win the game. I love the matchup for Baylor WRs Denzel Mims and Tyquan Thornton against the TCU secondary. Give me the Bears as a short favorite in Fort Worth.
Northwestern v Purdue under 39: This has all been so ugly for both teams this season. Northwestern’s offense has been dreadful. They haven’t scored a touchdown since the 2nd quarter of their game against Nebraska….which was played over a month ago on October 5th! Purdue has been devastated by injuries all year and backup QB Jack Plummer is now out for the season. I know 39 is a tiny number but who scores in this game??
Alabama -5.5 v LSU: Forget the metrics. Forget how close these games are. Forget that Tua’s ankle isn’t 100%. My thoughts are twofold: first, I’m fading the popular public underdog and two, backing Nick Saban in a massive game. Alabama can’t get into the playoff without winning this game. LSU can and Saban knows it. I absolutely love Alabama today.
Clemson - 34.5 at NC State: So Clemson gets left out of the first rankings of the CFP poll. They get to travel to Raleigh to face a team starting a RS Freshman making his second start of his career. I actually feel bad for Devin Leary and the spot he’s in today. I think Isaiah Simmons and this defense has a field day and holds NC State under 250 total yards. This feels like a statement game for Clemson. Give me Clemson by a hundred.
